Sculptures for Fai
The Artistic Foundry Battaglia proposes the “SCULPTURES FOR FAI” initiative to continue the collaboration after the “Fai spring days of 28th-29th march 2009” and to contribute to FAI protection mission of the cultural Italian Heritage.
Each fused work of Battaglia will be now accompanied by a fabrication certification, which explains and certificate the “lost wax casting manufacture”, ancient and handicraft technique, used since 1913; without wanting to replace the certificate of authenticity released by the artist.
The Battaglia Foundry will give free registration to the FAI for one year to anybody buying a sculpture accompanied by the casting certification.
We hope so to convince collectors not only to look for the quality of the fusion, but also to partecipate to a social and cultural function, approaching for free for one year the FAI initiatives.
